CollectMe Privacy Policy

The short version

CollectMe keeps your collection on your device, with optional iCloud sync to your own private iCloud. NarvalTech has no servers and does not collect, sell, or share your personal data. No app account, no tracking, no third-party analytics.

What data the app stores

Everything you enter — names, values, notes, tags, photos and item details — is stored locally on your device. NarvalTech has no servers and never receives a copy of your collection.

iCloud sync (optional)

If you turn on iCloud sync, your collection is stored in your own private iCloud so it stays up to date across your devices and can be restored if you reinstall the app. This data lives in Apple's iCloud under your Apple ID — NarvalTech has no servers and cannot see or access it.

iCloud sync is optional. With it off, your collection stays only on your device and the app remains fully functional.

Network use (optional)

When you look up an item, only the identifier you provide (an ISBN, barcode or search term) is sent to third-party metadata services to fetch public information such as title, author, cover or sleeve art. No personal information is included.

The app is fully functional offline; these lookups are optional conveniences.

Camera & photos

Camera and photo access is used only to add images to your items. Photos are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded.

Purchases

Optional in-app purchases are processed by Apple. NarvalTech does not receive or store any payment information.

Tracking & analytics

None. There are no ads, no tracking SDKs, and no analytics.

Children

CollectMe is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13.

Updates to this policy are posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.

Third-party services

Optional metadata lookups use these public catalogues. Only the identifier you provide is sent — never personal information.
